The Workfeed is meant to be each employee’s personal home screen.

Where the Dashbar highlights items of concern for the whole company, the Workfeed is focused on what you need to do and when you need to do it.  Each ticket, task, and scheduled event is sorted and displayed based on scheduled actions and urgency score.  This means you never need to weed through a long list of tickets looking for the next item to work on.  Just look at the top of your Workfeed and you will stay on track.

Here are the different sections of the Workfeed:

Reminders- When you are due, or overdue, for a scheduled event, the reminder section at the top of the screen will let you know.  Green items show upcoming events, while red items let you know you have gone overdue and should get to the item right away.

Next Tickets – Huge lists of tickets are overwhelming.  Zest helps you focus on your most important tickets and saves the rest for later.  The Next Tickets area will show you your top 3 assigned tickets by urgency, letting you know what needs worked on now.  No more cherry picking or avoiding that trouble ticket.  Sometimes a ticket needs to be seen straight away, like when a customer replies.  When that happens it will automatically move to the top of your Next Tickets queue, ensuring the things your customer’s care about won’t fall through the cracks.

Tasks – Not every item that needs done in your MSP needs to be a ticket.  For all those personal To-Dos and internal work items, Zest lets you create tasks.  The Task area of your Workfeed shows you any new or assigned tasks you have not yet scheduled, letting you keep tabs on everything on your plate.

Today’s Schedule – At the bottom of your Workfeed, you will find a list of your scheduled items for the day.  With just a glance you can keep track of your days responsibilities and reschedule items that may cause a conflict.  You can also change the date to let you check on your agenda in the future.
